Raynar Enhanced Achieves Three Year Milestone
February 2023, London
Raynar Portfolio Management (Raynar, RPM) celebrates the third anniversary of Raynar’s Enhanced Strategy. Assets Under Management (AUM) in the strategy have expanded approximately four-fold since launch to reach £48.7m due to inflows and sector leading performance*.
Matthew Taylor, Portfolio Manager said: “Despite challenging global market conditions, it is pleasing that Raynar Enhanced’s design features have enabled the delivery of a sector leading 25.3% total return since launch*. This performance is materially ahead of the return delivered by UK Equities and Corporate Bonds over the same period, for example**. The dynamically managed, multi-asset class strategy adopts a performance-first ethos whilst prudently managing risk, enabling me to select those assets that I consider to be most attractive. Indeed, following a long period of consistently low allocations to fixed income, I now consider the asset class to be the most attractive it has been for at least a decade, with a conviction weighting to match.”
Notes to Editors:
*Past Performance is not a reliable indicator of future performance. Sector leading performance refers to analysis utilising Bloomberg’s ‘Fund Search’ function. Using the combined terms of ‘UK Mixed Allocation’ and ‘UK Dynamic Allocation’ shows Raynar Enhanced A Class ranked fourth highest amongst 144 peers with a total return of 25.3% from 07/02/20 to 07/02/23. AUM on 07/02/23 was £48.7m.
**For the same time period, iShares FTSE 100 ETF (‘UK Equities’) returned 16.6% and iShares UK Corporate Bond ETF (‘Corporate Bonds’) returned -13.6%.
